Job Title: VP, Global TradingWork Location: Ropemaker Street, LondonJob SummaryUnder limited direction, with a high level of autonomy, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience for servicing and supporting the Raymond James Electronic Trading ("RJET") desk, Portfolio Trading ("RJPT") desk and its clients. Will be integral in assisting with RJET & PT client onboarding, day-to-day sales trading support and post-trade analysis. Will also be integral with supporting Raymond James "internal" desks' global order flow.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClient onboarding, testing and daily support – fix integration.Work with sales traders to provide execution reports and post-trade venue and TCA reports to clients on a daily basis.Strong understanding of OMS/EMS behavior and the ability to resolve any issues relating to order management.Provide strategy (order) monitoring and support to all clients, internally and externally.Work closely with middle and back-office teams to resolve any trade related problems in a timely fashion.Ensure accuracy of all data held within OMS/EMS, including market fees, charges, and FX rates.Help build and foster client relationships and provide support around prospecting for new business.Leads the work of others and provides ideas and help to enhance client relationships.Subject matter expert in all matters dealing with operations and technology.Liaise with vendor partners to resolve any interface issues between RJ and our clients.Answers telephones for client inquiries, internal needs, orders and information.Troubleshoots operational and administrative issues.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge ofAdvanced trading strategies and market structure.Trading technology and fix protocols.Advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of Electronic Trading, Program Trading & Global equity markets.Principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations.Financial markets and products.Company's working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.Skill inAdvanced maths and analytics.Advanced marketing skills and sales ability.Identifying relationships, draw logical conclusions, and interpret results.Using technical/professional knowledge, interpersonal and sales skills to obtain customers' commitment to ideas, services, or products.Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.Ability toRead, interpret, analyse and apply information from industry data.Organise, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with critical deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all organisational levels.Attend to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation.Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Project a positive, professional image both internal and with external business contacts.Convey information clearly and effectively through both formal and informal documents.Educational/Previous Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Finance, Accounting or Business and a minimum of (5) five to (7) seven years of experience in the Principal Trading area of the financial services industry. ~or~Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.Licenses/CertificationsRequired licensure per country's requirement.
