Job DescriptionElectricianLocation: Glasgow (must be able to commute or relocate before starting)Salary: Up to £22 per hourJob Type: Full time, Permanent and Freelance opportunities availableBenefits: Competitive hourly rate, Opportunities for professional development and career growth, A supportive and collaborative work environment and The chance to work on diverse projects across multiple sectorsWe are committed to delivering high-quality maintenance services while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.Our mission is to provide a safe and healthy working environment for everyone involved.We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team.You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across a variety of projects.This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and client specifications.As our Electrician you will be responsible for: Performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on various systems and facilitiesConducting routine inspections and testing to identify issues and prevent breakdownsTroubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, implementing effective solutionsInstalling, testing and commissioning new electrical equipment and systemsCollaborating with other tradespeople and engineers to ensure safe and efficient work practicesWorking in challenging environments, including heights and confined spacesMaintaining accurate records of work performed, including test results and inspection reportsStaying up to date with industry developments through ongoing trainingIn order to be successful in this role you must have: Minimum 2 years in electrical installation and maintenanceFull UK Driving licenseRelevant electrical qualificationCurrent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (highly advantageous)Hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial systemsCompetent in testing and inspection, including EICRs and PAT TestingStrong understanding of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work ActAbility to identify faults and apply safe, effective solutionsExcellent communication skills for customer and team interactionsFamiliarity with power tools and machinery safety featuresReady to join our team Apply today and take the next step in your careerJBRP1_UKTJ
