Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in electrical systems, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. (BS 7671)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project plans.
- Estimating of jobs
- Drafting of RAMS
Requirements
- A valid UK drivers licence.
- Previous Electrical experience - as a supervisor or on site electrician.
- Valid CSCS card for access to sites
- A Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certificate if possible
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the electrical field, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, with the ability to manage resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Computer skills are a must. Must be competent in use of Outlook, Excel and word. MS Projects is advantageous
