You will carry out electrical installation, replacement, testing, inspection, and maintenance works that form a crucial part of planned refurbishments and upgrades in residential and public sector properties. Youll work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, compliant, and energy-efficient solutions in accordance with regulations and company standards.The roleDeliver electrical installations, rewires, upgrades, and planned maintenance across both occupied and void properties.Carry out electrical testing, inspections, EICRs, and fault-finding on domestic and communal systems, producing accurate certificates and reports.Install, repair, and replace consumer units, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and associated wiring to required specifications.Ensure all work meets current IEE Wiring Regulations, Health & Safety standards, and Sureserve compliance procedures.Proactively identify additional works or improvements and communicate these clearly to supervisors or site managers.Work collaboratively with other trades and site teams to meet programme deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.Engage professionally with residents when required, ensuring excellent customer service and minimal disruption.Essential skills & experienceCity & Guilds, SVQ level 3 or equivalent.Trained to current regulations (18th Edition), hold an inspections & testing certificateCSCS or ECS cardFull UK driving licence (essential).Desirable- Renewable Fuels (Solar PV; Solar Thermal; Air Sourced Heat Pumps) City & Guilds or equivalent BPEC.PackageCompetitive salary (DOE) plus overtime and call-out payments.Contributory pension scheme, life assurance and income protection.25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with service-based increases Ongoing training, development, and career progression in an expanding organisation.Access to Sureserve Benefits Hub discounts at major retailers, health & wellbeing support, and virtual GP service for you and your family.Diversity, Inclusion & Reasonable AdjustmentsSureserve is committed to being an equal opportunities employer, welcoming applications from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, or religion.
