Job DescriptionEvent Operations SpecialistWe have taken on a fantastic new opportunity with a leading global firm that is expanding its events function in London. This is a newly created position for an experienced and highly organised Events professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering world-class corporate experiences. The company offers a collaborative, tech-forward culture, and the team has built an outstanding reputation for professionalism, precision, and a shared drive for excellence.THE ROLE:This role offers the chance to take ownership of an evolving events function, overseeing the planning and execution of a wide range of internal and recruitment-focused events — from intimate roundtables and high-profile conferences to multi-day global programmes. Day to day, you will:Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of corporate events and programmes from the firm’s in-office conference centreManage the event pipeline and master calendar, including room holds and allocationsCreate detailed event documentation — including runs of show, floor plans, staffing plans, cue sheets, and logisticsPartner closely with AV/Tech, catering, and workplace services teams to ensure seamless, on-brand executionOversee vendor relationships, budgets, and event staff to maintain consistently high standardsMaintain and refine operational tools such as templates, playbooks, and checklistsDrive continuous improvement through post-event reviews and feedbackAct as the main point of contact during events, overseeing set-up, standards, and issue resolutionThis is an ideal role for a detail-oriented Events Specialist who loves structure, thrives under pressure, and brings creativity and composure to every project. The successful candidate will have 5–7 years of end-to-end event operations experience in a corporate or professional services environment (financial services exposure a plus).
