Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity to join a unique manufacturingbusiness in the heart of beautiful countryside with super benefits including:-37 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am to 4pm (Friday) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays5% pensionPrivate healthcare2 x base salary life insuranceExperience needed to be successful as a Senior Planner:-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsProficient in the use of MRP and ability to interpret technical information5 years of leadership experience inmanufacturing resource planning / materials requirements planningDuties for the Senior Planner include:-Day-to-day responsibility for the Planning team and their developmentWork with management team to support strategic and operations planningCreates and maintains clear lines of communication with Team Leaders, Production Managers, Project Manager, Sales and Buying teams dailyDirect ALL Master Scheduling activity, incorporating Forecasts into Master Production SchedulesGenerate and update daily, weekly and monthly production status reportsPerforms any necessary support functions as required by procurement processManage all related MRP maintenance, including resolving problems with Engineering and Receiving and Inspection as necessaryProper and timely implementation of change ordersMaintain optimal inventory levels through the active use of MRP and the maintenance of all required parameters including assembly lead times, days supply, EOQ, for all assembliesActive support of R&D and new product activitiesAnalyse data to update staff schedules (Capacity) to reach the agreed quota in the manufacturing processMonitor inventory levels and actively trial kit, whilst reviewing Minimum stock order levels and order incrementsApply now for the full Job details with details of salary requirements.COG LTD are acting as an Employment Agency.JBRP1_UKTJ
