Job DescriptionSummarySenior Commercial Finance Manager, Driving Strategic Growth Through Financial InsightAdditional BenefitsCar Allowance, Company Bonus Scheme, Company Pension Scheme, Enhanced Sick PayThe RoleAre you a Finance Business Partner or Business Performance Manager ready to step into a senior commercial finance role where your insights shape the direction of a major FMCG business?At Sofina Foods, we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to work closely with senior stakeholders across our added value pork division, driving profitability and helping shape strategic decisions across multiple channels.Please note that this role requires a full time office base in GrimsbyYour Key ResponsibilitiesThis is more than just a finance role, you will be linking up with our sales teams to ensure you are the heart of commercial decision-making, challenging the status quo and influencing change across our business.You WillDeliver high-impact financial analysis to support tenders, promotions, and strategic business planningAct as a key strategic finance lead, partnering with commercial and cross-functional teamsMitigate inflationary pressures with actionable solutions via sales and category insightsImprove margin performance through pricing strategy and new product development evaluationsProvide pre- and post-promotional analysis to guide effective decision-makingEvaluate raw material alternatives with cost-impact assessments and scenario planningManage customer profitability reporting, offering challenge and support to commercial leadsDeliver insightful product costing analysis using “what-if” scenarios and margin forecastsSupport commercial strategies through robust financial modelling and stakeholder engagementLead and contribute to continuous improvement projects with a financial lensThe Ideal CandidateYou’re a commercially sharp, solution-focused finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.CIMA qualified (preferred) with strong experience in commercial finance, ideally in FMCGProven track record in a senior finance role such as Finance Business Partner or Business ControllerAdvanced Excel skills and a confident user of financial models and business planning toolsExcellent communicator, able to challenge constructively and influence decision-makingAnalytical and strategic thinker with a sharp eye for margin, cost, and performance metricsProactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholdersWhy Sofina Foods?At Sofina, we invest in our people as much as our products.
