North East Lincolnshire:
Site based initially with some hybrid working to follow.
You will be joining one of the UK's leading food businesses, with an expanding international footprint.
The site in North East Lincolnshire is entering a period of transformation to bring it in line with the wider group businesses, and requires a hands on Head of Finance who will question and challenge current processes and procedures, whilst motivating the teamand business to embrace change.
As Head of Finance and reporting to a Divisional Finance Director, you will take responsibility for all of the financial processes across the site. You will partner the site Commercial and Manufacturing leads, to drive business performance with accurate andinsightful analysis, to ensure complete financial integrity and control.
Key responsibilities and deliverables:

- Site leadership team member with shared profit responsibility for a multi £100m T/O business across 2 production sites and multiple retail customers.
- Leading a team of circa 10 across financial control, management accounting, commercial finance, transactional finance and payroll
- Deliver clear and unambiguous analysis of performance, to improve profit/service/quality performance
- Support the identification and delivery of the performance improvement pipeline.
- Validate and arbitrate on all capex business cases, ensuring paybacks are accurately calculated and ultimately delivered
- Ensure robust product costing systems and processes in place, clearly identifying the implications of commercial decisions, ensuring profitable volume growth
- Maintain complete financial control of business assets through a robust framework.
- Lead the site's forecasting and S&OP processes to drive the right decisions, and give the business and the Group a clear outlook of future performance expectations.
- Ultimate responsibility for all aspects of financial management and reporting, including budget, cashflow, periodic forecast, management accounts, statutory accounts
Suitable applicants:
Professionally qualified with a CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification
Prior experience of working in a fast paced FMCG/ food/ horticulture business, in a senior leadership capacity.
Ability to drive through change, with prior continuous improvement experience.
In taking up this position you will be entering a group renowned for career progression, inside or outside of core finance

**Salary**: £80,000-£85,000 + package commensurate for the level.
