About The RoleLogistics OperativeLocation: Washington, Tyne & Wear12 Month Fixed term contract40 hours per weekSalary – Up To £28,700 (depending On Experience)Interviews for this role will take place 11th & 12th DecemberAbout The RoleWe're looking for a reliable and proactive individual to support our Logistics operations across the Washingon region. In this varied and hands-on role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our service runs smoothly and safely, keeping everything behind the scenes moving efficiently.You'll be responsible for maintaining clean, tidy, and obstruction-free logistics areas in line with our Health & Safety guidelines, as well as Cycle Counting and receipting of deliveries. The role also involves transporting deliveries to various stores and ensuring goods are placed in the correct, agreed locations. When required, you'll act as a second person on deliveries to unmanned stores, providing crucial support to the wider team.This is a great opportunity for someone who's organised, dependable, and ready to make a real impact.If you're a team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you.About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll need to hold a full, valid driving licence and be confident working both independently and as part of a team. You'll bring a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and demonstrate good communication skills when interacting with both internal colleagues and external contacts.A basic level of PC skills is required, along with the ability to maintain high standards of general housekeeping within logistics areas.
