As an entry level administrator, no previous experience is required. We're able to provide study support for CIPP payroll qualifications and progression to a Payroll Administrator as experience and technical knowledge develops.The Payroll Junior supports the delivery of accurate day-to-day payroll services for TC East clients. This includes processing payrolls, assisting with client queries, and carrying out payroll administration. The role provides essential support to the department while developing the knowledge and skills required for progression.Key responsibilities of a Payroll Junior will include:prepare and process payrolls using checklists and agreed procedures.calculate employee and employer pension contributions and complete administration for pension providers by deadlines.produce and send client CIS statements.prepare payslips, reports, and payroll outputs by agreed deadlines.complete RTI submissions, pension checks, and other control tasks.support the department in meeting deadlines and KPIs through accurate, timely work.carry out reconciliation and submission of year-end forms to meet HMRC deadlines.check Auto Run payrolls and BACS payments for accuracy.manage client communications professionally, escalating more complex queries where appropriate.assist in the preparation of payrolls and client outputs, ensuring deadlines are met.provide accurate support to clients by maintaining records and checking data carefully.contribute to departmental improvements by understanding and adopting best practice.
