Job DescriptionLifeArc is a pioneering, self-funded life sciences organisation with a powerful mission: to transform cutting-edge scientific discoveries into tangible health benefits for patients. At the forefront of translational science, LifeArc bridges the gap between early-stage research and practical application, ensuring that breakthroughs in medicine, diagnostics and biotechnology reach those who need them most. With an ambitious strategy to drive real-world impact in rare diseases, and to strengthen the global health ecosystem, LifeArc is shaping the future of medical innovation. As LifeArc embarks on the next phase of its strategy, we are seeking to appoint three new Trustees to join our highly experienced and purpose-driven Board. This is an exciting moment to contribute to an organisation uniquely positioned to accelerate patient-focused innovation. Our Trustees play a vital role in guiding LifeArc’s strategic direction, governance and investment decisions, helping to ensure that our resources are used to deliver the greatest possible impact for patients. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas: accountancy (to chair the Audit and Risk Management Committee), drug discovery and AI usage, clinical trials, data science, and patient advocacy. Candidates will bring strategic insight, independence of thought and the ability to engage collaboratively at Board level. Prior non-executive experience is welcome but not essential for candidates who are “board ready” and motivated by LifeArc’s mission. This is a rare opportunity to help shape one of the UK’s most impactful life sciences organisations at a time of significant growth and transformation. If you share LifeArc’s commitment to advancing science for patient benefit and want to play an active role in guiding its future, we would be delighted to hear from you.Saxton Bampfylde Ltd is acting as an employment agency advisor to LifeArc on this appointment.
