Job DescriptionLicensed Conveyancer – Ilkley Are you an enthusiastic and organised legal professional looking to grow your conveyancing An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Licensed Conveyancer with ideally 5 PQE+ to step into a leadership role within a highly regarded and growing law firm. We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded legal professional to manage their own caseload, mentor junior staff and play a key role in the continued development and success of the Residential Property department.You must maintain the Licenced Conveyancers qualification to be considered for this role.Key Responsibilities:Handle a full caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages, with minimal supervisionProvide clear, practical legal advice while maintaining the highest standards of client careSupervise, support and develop team members, contributing to training, mentoring and performance reviewsTake responsibility for achieving personal and departmental billing targetsEnsure effective progression of all client matters, keeping clients regularly updated on progress and costsMaintain compliance with SRA and Law Society regulations, Solicitors Accounts Rules and all firm protocolsOversee file management and diary control processes, ensuring timely completion of transactionsManage credit control on personal files in close coordination with the accounts teamDrive business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities in collaboration with the Head of Department and senior leadershipRepresent the department internally and externally, promoting the firm’s values and professional imageLeadership & Strategic Involvement:Play a proactive role in the strategic development of the Residential Property team and wider firmCollaborate with partners and senior management to identify and implement process improvementsSupport firm-wide marketing initiatives and client relationship management strategiesEncourage and contribute to the professional development of junior team members through coaching and in-house trainingRequirements & Qualifications:You must maintain the Licenced Conveyancers qualificationProven ability to manage a busy caseload independentlyPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirableStrong mentoring and team-building skills with a positive and supportive approachWhat’s on Offer?Competitive salary and bonus structureLeadership opportunity in a growing, respected law firmOngoing professional development and trainingSupportive and collaborative team environmentFlexible and hybrid working arrangementsGenuine career progression opportunitiesApply NowIf you're ready to take the next step in your residential property career and lead from the front in a professional, client-focused environment, apply today or contact Rachael Atherton at G2 Legal in confidence for further information.#INDMADN
