Responsibilities:Managing company restructuresEnsuring company restructures are managing compliantlyManaging redundancy processesOversee onboarding processes to ensure a positive start for new employees.Employee RelationsAdvise managers on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary matters.Performance ManagementLead the implementation and continuous improvement of performance appraisal systems.Support managers in setting clear performance goals and providing constructive feedback.Monitor and report on performance trends to drive improvement initiatives.Compliance and PolicyEnsure full compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices.Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments impacting HR operations Ideal Candidate:Previous experience working in a heavily unionised environmentRemote management experienceExperience in managing redundancy processesPrevious experience conducting and carrying out employee trainingStrong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, people-focused business.CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) is desirable  Cherry Professional are recruiting on behalf of their client Roles you may have applied for: HR Manager, HR & Training Manager or Senior HR Advisor Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
