Job DescriptionTechnical Documentation ControllerOliver Valves Ltd, based in Knutford are seeking an experienced Technical Documentation Controller to manage the preparation, collation and on-time submission of complex technical and compliance documentation for international Oil & Gas clients.Technical Documentation Controller - Oil & Gas I Knutsford (On-site)\tAs part of a cross-functional team, you'll play a key role in supporting global engineering projects, ensuring all documentation meets client expectations, project timelines, and regulatory standards. This is a mid-level to senior role-ideal for someone with a strong background in technical document control within engineering, manufacturing, or Oil & Gas industries.With over 45 years of innovation, Oliver Valves is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of high-performance valves and valve systems for the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. Our products play a critical role in major infrastructure and energy projects across the globe-and so does our documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit comprehensive document packages, including ITPs, MRBs, IOMs, and Material Certificates (e.g. EN 10204)Coordinate inputs from internal departments (Sales, Engineering, QA, Production, R&D, Purchasing, Shipping, Finance) to meet tight project deadlinesLiaise directly with clients to clarify requirements, resolve documentation queries, and provide professional customer serviceMaintain accurate records using the company's Document Management System (DMS)Support Project Managers with status updates, reporting, and document lifecycle trackingIdentify and resolve obstacles to ensure timely document and product deliveryCollaborate on continuous improvement of documentation processes and toolsWe're looking for a self-starter who thrives in fast paced environments and has the ability to manage competing priorities. They will have a high attention to detail, and very skilled at managing their time and multiple deadlines. They will process-driven, with strong interpersonal skills and able to confidently communicate to a variety of stake holders.
