We are seeking a Head of Performance (Display) to lead our Display, Programmatic, and Direct Media Partnerships teams, maximising growth and efficiency across all performance-driven media channels.Better Collective is a leading iGaming media group that improves the sports betting & gaming experience for bettors across the world. We offer a great working environment in our offices, with a lively working culture that is characterised by a pioneering spirit and a global vision.The RoleReporting directly to the Director of Agency & Media (Paid Media), you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, growth, optimisations and operational excellence of all performance media channels (Display, Programmatic, and Direct Publisher Partnerships).You will oversee three teams across these areas, guiding their development, ensuring synergy across channels, and driving performance outcomes that align with company objectives. This is a senior role focused on strategy, innovation, and commercial impact rather than day-to-day campaign management.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the strategy for Display, Programmatic, and Direct Media Partnerships to enhance Acquisition and ROILead, mentor, and develop a team of media specialists, nurturing a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountabilityManage media budgets and ensure effective distribution across platforms to achieve business KPIs and growth targetsProvide regular reports and actionable insights to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives, along with assisting in forecastingWork independently with guidance from management regarding overall goals and objectivesIdentify and capitalise on emerging technologies, partners, and media opportunities to improve performance and efficiencyEnsure all campaigns and partnerships follow best practices for brand safety, viewability, and fraud preventionAssess and deploy tools or platforms that enhance workflow, targeting, or optimisation capabilitiesEstablish and sustain high-value relationships with media owners, DSPs, SSPs, and publishersNegotiate direct media deals to maximise value and performancePromote data-driven decision-making throughout the Performance Media functionOur Ideal CandidateOver 5 years of experience in digital media, specialising in programmatic, display, or performance marketingStrong understanding of the digital media landscape, covering DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, and attribution modelsProven record of managing multi-channel, global performance campaigns at scalePossesses a strong analytical mindset capable of turning data into strategic insightsA confident communicator and relationship builder, effective both internally and externallyStrong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other performance analysis toolsOtherAn interest in sports betting would be usefulKnowledge of ad fraud, viewability and brand safety metrics and how these are measured, managed and fit into the programmatic advertising landscape are requiredA passion for innovation combined with an entrepreneurial mindset to spot and leverage new growth opportunitiesApplication DeadlineWe are looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible by uploading your application via the "Apply now" button until 31st of December 2025.Start date: As soon as possible.QuestionsIf you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to write to the Director of Agency & Media (Paid Media), Rob Brown at rob.brown@bettercollective.com.Please do not send CV and cover letters to this address, inquiries only.Why join Better Collective?At Better Collective, we pride ourselves on fostering a workplace where talent thrives and collaboration flourishes.
