Job Description SummaryAs the Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leveraging deep technology, process and domain expertise to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within a program, ensuring outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality. You will define execution standards and processes to be followed by all project managers within the program or department.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in defining functionality and specifying requirementsOutline multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomesDefine execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the programOrganize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope and timelineManage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teamsCoordinate execution across multiple projects and drive shared approach and outcomes trackingSupport execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as requiredManage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the projectManage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executivesEnsure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectationsTrack project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collectedPerform initial and final financial reviews, and ensure ongoing budget trackingMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree from accredited university or collegeProfessional experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field.Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experienceDesired CharacteristicsProven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organizationExperience managing budgets including budget and spendStrong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizationsStrong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goalsExcellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organizationSelf-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goalsStrong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activitiesStrong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sourcesExperience working with others on a global basisApplies knowledge to coach and mentor othersDemonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiativesStrong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plansChange oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordinglyPMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications6.9 Digital Technology & Cybersecurity requirements6.10 All Digital Technology and Cybersecurity workers in GEAS UK Highly Regulated Businesses shall be subject to UK National Security Vetting and must hold and maintain clearance at the SC Level (or higher) prior to starting employment/assignment and for continued employment/assignment. This requirement shall apply regardless of whether: employed by; seconded, allocated or assigned to; or otherwise undertaking work in or for GEAS UK Highly Regulated Businesses; and shall apply irrespective of site/location, including those working remotely.6.12 All workers requesting highly privileged logical and/or unescorted physical access to IT/OT Applications/Systems/Services or Infrastructure within GEAS UK Highly Regulated Environments shall be subject to UK National Security Vetting and must hold clearance at the SC Level (or higher) and shall meet applicable access eligibility and business justification requirements before such access is granted. Access shall cease when access clearance, eligibility or justification requirements cease to be met. Highly privileged logical access to IT/OT Applications/Systems/Services within GEAS UK Highly Regulated Environments shall be limited to workers who are located onshore in the UK.
