Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are a Warrington based Motor Dealership looking for a “Purchase Ledger Clerk” to join our centralised accounting function.
**Responsibility**:
- Review, code and process large volumes of supplier invoices through our daily operating system (Kerridge).
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
- Process supplier payments (BACS and cheques).
- Allocation of supplier payments through the Kerridge system.
- Handling supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
**About You**:
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a high-volume Purchase Ledger department.
- Experience in a motor trade environment with a Kerridge DMS background would be advantageous, although not essential.
- PC literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team Player.
- Excellent administrative/organisational abilities, and able to work on own initiative.
**Hours**:
8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday 37.5 hours/week
**Holidays**:
23 days per annum.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £20,963.00 per year
