Our Commercial Finance Manager will be helping us to drive performance and profitability of our 2 sites in Corby through consistent analysis, insight and business partnering. The successful Commercial Finance Manager will be solely responsible for delivering the month end accounts, making sure the numbers are accurately reported throughout the month with flash reporting. You will have one direct report from the site ManagementAccountant who will be helping you to deliver these practices and help you to establish cost and revenue drivers. You’ll also work together to produce both internal and external financial reports and present accounts in the monthly review meetings.

**Key responsibilities of our Commercial Finance Manager**:

- Support strategic decision-making by providing high quality, accurate and timely business information. Be able to understand, think through, and communicate the implications of decisions on financial metrics, including the P&L and cash flow
- Review period end reporting produced and present to required stakeholders in the context of the operational performance
- Proactively support the business with forecasting, appropriate financial models, and reports
- Analyse and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data and draw conclusions. Usefindings to provide an appropriate level of objective challenge to stakeholders, including the identification of risks and opportunities
- Play a key part in helping the business to understand key areas of financial focus such as customer profitability, margin analysis by customer and the cost effectiveness of the sites
- Ensure that all financial/commercial activity is undertaken in line with legislative requirements (Financial Governance)

**Skills and experience of our Commercial Finance Manager**:

- CIMA/ACCA qualified
- Analytical skills are essential to interpret complex operational data and financial models and to make recommendations to the business
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with non-finance stakeholders, with an excellent ability to build relationships, communicate and service stakeholders with their requirements
