**Technology Alignment Manager**

**Remote working role**

Our client is a IT Managed Service provider and they are looking for a Technology Alignment Manager.

They are seeking an exceptional client facing Technology Alignment Manager to join our experienced and committed IT Services team to provide high quality IT services to our portfolio of clients operating in the creative industries of Film, Audio/Video, CreativeDesign, Fashion, Architecture and more.

**The Role**:
You will help better understand client environments, develop our suite of IT Standards and Security best practices, keep our documentation up to date and help our Technology Consultants make better decisions for their clients and deliver on their TechnologySuccess Process. This is a critical role in the business which stands at the center of several key functions and whose work drives efficiency into our overall IT Service Delivery process.

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and process driven with sharp customer facing skills. You need to be able to find your way around a network, within servers and other IT systems to discover what is misaligned to our standards and bestpractices, lacking in our documentation and to uncover inconsistent configurations.

**Responsibilities**:
The allocation of your time will be split evenly between working at clients sites which are mainly based in and around London, and working from home remotely.
- Complete Technology Alignments (remote and on-site)
- Evaluate a client’s IT environment against a set of standards and documents misalignments in our IT Process system
- Create, clean up, tidy and reconcile documentation pertaining to client environments, from network diagrams, to user onboarding process
- Manage our Desk Director Support Portal environment including the tailored support request forms and learning articles available to all managed users
- Make recommendations on how to improve client systems, networks and business operations
- Support the Technology Consultants by presenting technology concepts, options and solutions
- Ensure that clients receive the appropriate Centralised Services and reports
- Identify reactive support trends and risks within clients’ IT environments

**Experience**:

- At least 5 years experience as an IT Engineer supporting small to mid-sized companies in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience and general technical knowledge of;
? Apple Mac environment within a business

? Windows environments (Hyper-V, Windows Server roles and Windows OS)

? Network (routing and switching principals, VLANs)

? Firewalls and routing devices (Fortinet, Meraki)

? Google Workplac

? Microsoft 365 and Desktop Office Apps

? Backup Platforms and Administration (PreSTORE, Veeam, Cloudberry, Datto File Protect)

? Troubleshooting experience with the above
- Experience using Autotask PSA or similar professional services tools
- Experience working with RMM tools
- An understanding of support tools, techniques and how technology is used to provide IT services efficiently and effectively
- Experience working to IT best practices and conducting IT audits in a client environment
- A relevant Windows, Apple, Security or ITIL qualification desirable
