We are looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to work closely with the CEO and COO and to support other members of the Board of Directors when necessary.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Personal Assistant role are:
- Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
- Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
- Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- Assisting with the organising of events and conferences
- Reminding the Director of important tasks and deadlines
- Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
- Managing databases and filing systems
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
- Collating and filing expenses
- Conducting research on behalf of the Directors
- Organising the Director’s personal commitments including travel and childcare
Professional qualities:
- Good IT knowledge especially in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Verbal and written articulacy
- Professional discretion
- Efficiency
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Well-developed time management skills
- Strong organisational skills
The role could suit someone looking for part-time hours (25 hours per week) Monday to Friday and there may be scope to work from home as well as the office in Castle Combe.
