**A bit about Timetabling & Examinations**

As a busy and integral part of the university, our team manages and delivers the academic timetable and coordinates examinations. We are also deeply involved in strategic projects that enhance the student experience, collaborating closely with Schools, Estates, and Digital IT.

**So, what will the role involve?**

We are at a pivotal moment, transitioning from one timetabling system to another—a change that will significantly impact our processes, policies, and procedures.

We’re seeking to appoint a Timetabling Officer with relevant experience to develop, coordinate, and support the implementation of the 2025/26 timetable, ensuring that it aligns with university initiatives and contributes to strategic objectives for enhancing the student experience.

Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll assess teaching requirements and work collaboratively to produce a high-quality timetable that meets timetabling principles and customer expectations. You will also have line management responsibility for a Timetabling Assistant.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and resourceful team player who is experienced in balancing several conflicting and often challenging priorities, with a “can-do” attitude, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You will have a keen eye for detail, confidently establish effective relationships and manage the needs of different stakeholders.

**What’s in it for you?**

At the University of Salford, we celebrate the diversity of our community. With over 200 languages spoken across Greater Manchester, we strive to create an inclusive learning and working environment where everyone feels they belong.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package through ‘MySalford,’ allowing you to tailor your benefits to suit your lifestyle. This includes additional annual leave, discounts on High Street shopping, travel savings, and access to health and wellbeing support. To help maintain work/life balance, we provide flexible work arrangements, enabling you to connect from anywhere—whether it's our Peel Park Campus, MediaCityUK, or your home—so you can do your best work from your chosen location.

Whatever your background, and however you identify, come and join us at the University of Salford, where we are proud to belong. watch us in action here
