**Job Description** Scope of Position;**

Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service from within the Air Import Gateway department.

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Work with Gateway colleagues to ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
- Track and trace Air Import files as required. This can be either internally via exp.o or externally via airline websites or by telephone to airline offices.
- Use Workflow Monitors to manage work and visibility within the department.
- Interact with the relevant Expeditors branches and departments in arranging their international shipments, meeting expected service standards.
- Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (Airlines, Hauliers, and Ground Handling Agents).
- Ensuring PNC’s are updated timely.
- Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures and any applicable externally governed regulatory requirements.
- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
- Meet KPI standards, as per the company’s procedures.
- Assisting peers with workloads or problems and offering support where needed.
- Contribute to process improvements within the department.

**This is a shift based position 4 on and 4 off from 06:00 to 18:00.**

**Qualifications** Qualifications;**
- A solid understanding of airfreight processes would be desirable.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
- Pro-active organizational skills.
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is an absolute must.
- Fluent in English
