**Operations Assistant - Export - Air & Sea - Nights** - **4 Days On, 3 Days Off**: - **Tuesday - Friday**: - **18:00 - 04:15** **Overview**: Our Client is looking for an operations assistant for there Night Export department. The person we are looking for must be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high job quality. The applicant must have good Export documentation awareness, organised and punctual, good knowledge of the Air freight industry. We are looking for a person who can add extra quality to our already highly skilled export team and be able come up with alternative solutions to challenges and problems whilst at the same time work under pressure. **Main purpose of Job**: - To maintain systems and processes and to provide good customer service. Production & preparation of and all related requirements for Exports. - HMC control requirements to enable exports - Liaise with airlines, branches and Warehouse - Problem solving - that may affect performance i.e. prepare paperwork for customs and airlines or monitor inbound/outbound flights - Ensure shipment procedures are followed according to procedures - Maintain accurate data on company systems - Matching Export Records for export customs **Key Tasks**: - Producing Mawb’s - Producing Hawb’s - Producing CSD’s - Check Take a lot x-ray log - Check Orange x-ray log - Check Mucr/Ducrs match in ICE - Any consol Re-hashes - Cut/Close the GE consol daily - Cut/Close the Teledyne consol daily - Cut/Close the BBGR consol - To be able to service the JLR account - Make sure tie up’s are done - Monitor the gateway inbox, for snags, queries. - Check postflights - Split the Whitmans documentation in Cargowise - Housekeeping - Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment **Skills** - MS Office Word and Excel - Good communicator - Team Player - Experience with Security "Regulated Agent" and cargowise would be preferred but not essential - Analytical skills an advantage **What we can offer you**: - A role in a successful, dynamic company - Be a part of a strong team of performance driven colleagues - Competitive salary - Great future career prospects for advancement - A professional working environment
