Operative

Par Grade Dryer, Par Cornwall

1 x G2 role, starting salary will be £24,360 per annum (including shift pay)

Role overview:
The working pattern is a pattern of 12 hour day and night shifts.

The purpose of the roles is to ensure that the production processes are operated in accordance with documented procedures and Imerys EHS and Quality Policies in order to maintain maximum production throughputs to customer and quality specification.

The G2 position will focus on wet screening and LP pressing.

Reports To: Senior Day Captain Direct reports: None

Qualifications & Experience- Experience of drying process operations would be an advantage.- Computer skills to be able to use SCADA.- Good numeracy and literacy skills.- Good IT, communication and organisation skills.

Skills & Person Specification- Excellent EHS knowledge and awareness including COSHH.- Fork-lift licence and front end loader skills would be an advantage.- Ability to work using own initiative, without close supervision and to work effectively as part of a team.- Be flexible with regard to working alternative shifts and plants on occasions if required and have the ability to work to demanding and changing priorities.- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to undertake further training if required.- Have a full driving licence.
