Industrial Cleaning Supervisor

**Main Purpose of the Job**

We are looking for an efficient and self-motivated individual to work on our client’s prestigious sites in Manchester. You must be flexible and able to work in an industrial team. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given.

**Roles / Responsibilities**:
Have a solid understanding of industrial cleaning processes and cleaning schedules. Have the ability to coach and lead a team of industrial operatives in a dynamic environment, and re-direct resources where the greater operational need is. Support the Operations Manager with the people management of the employees, ensuring an accurate, effective, and consistent approach to people management in areas such as sickness and attendance, holiday management performance, and conduct standards and rotas, ensuring company policies, procedures and processes are adhered to at all times.

First point of contact for our client, working with them, our stakeholders, and colleagues to build and continue excellent and valuable relationships ensuring the efficiency and consistent running of the ad hoc operational services provided.

Oversee and facilitate the completion of specialist cleaning tasks including but not limited to:

- High Level Cleaning
- Jet Washing
- Tank and silo cleaning
- Confined space cleaning
- Foam Cleaning blasting

Prior to the commencement of an ad hoc job, communicate specific job requirements with the team referring to RAM’s to maintain maximum automate and efficiency ensuring the level of specialist cleaning standards expected are provided.

Dealing with out of hours calls and Timegate arbitration for payroll

Carry out any reasonable task requested by the client or Manager, if you are trained to do so.

You will take an ‘everyone matters approach’ to Health and Safety one site, using your knowledge, skills, and resources to ensure risks are controlled in compliance with company Health and Safety processes and procedures and best practices.

Maintain equipment, materials, and uniform.

Responsible for the completion of visual spot checks and mandatory audits in relation to Supervisor audits and cleaning standards, identifying, and escalating any issue or areas of improvement to the Operations Manager

Complete general overall training by ways of Toolbox Talks and in the moment feedback.

You will take and ‘everyone matters’ approach to the companies accreditations including ISO 45001, 14001,9001 and be aware of our requirements in accordance with these standards.

**Qualification and Experience**
- Confined Space, MEWP and jetting licences would be an advantage.
