**About the Role**

You will be part of a team consisting of seven Bid Coordinators located regionally across the UK, a Bid Consultant, three Commercial Bid Managers, a Bid Library Manager and an Opportunities Manager, all working under the direction of the Group Bid Director

The Bid Coordinator supports the Bid Manager in the delivery of bid and proposal documents and capability statements. You will work closely with the Bid Manager’s Team for each proposal.

This is a key business support role supporting proposal generation and submission. You will play a vital role in collating, producing and submitting quality information for bids

Whilst the role is nominally office based, we have a flexible approach to home working when there is no business need to be in the office

The Bid Coordinator will report directly to the Group Bid Director

**Accountabilities**

**Typical activities will include**:

- Working in accordance with an established Group Bid Management Procedures.
- Organising mobilisation meetings, check point calls and bid reviews
- Managing the bid programme.
- Liaison with Bid Manager, Technical Authors and external consultants to make sure there is timely collection of all necessary documentation for bids and proposals.
- Making sure bids and proposals are compliant and delivered by the due date.
- Proof-reading text to make sure grammar and spelling is correct.
- Reviewing bid outcomes and holding deconstruct meetings
- Forwarding high scoring content to the Bid Content Database

- Collaborative team working
