**About the role**:
We are expanding our team and are looking for two Duty Clinical Nurse Specialists / Practitioners with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join us.

Working closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialists, your role will involve supporting a locality team, responding and advising by telephone as a senior practitioner, offering symptom control advice to patients and external healthcare professionals. Youwill therefore act as a specialist resource for other healthcare professionals, patients and carers.

You will be flexible and happy to accommodate new ways of working aimed at reaching more people. Requests for flexible working hours could be discussed at interview.

You will be joining a team of highly skilled, supportive and committed professionals dedicated to deliver high standards of palliative care to patients and their carers in the community setting.

You should have a relevant degree or diploma or be in the process of undertaking one. Palliative care or oncology experience is essential.
