**About Us**:
The Park Lane Group, established in 1987, is an independent housebuilder and developer. We build and sell new homes while managing an investment portfolio of 200+ properties across Sussex and Kent, under multiple companies within our group structure. You will be joining a fast-paced team to support the financial activities of multiple entities under The Park Lane Group umbrella.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Accurately process and record all supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments.
- Prepare and process supplier and subcontractor payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier and subcontractor statements and manage queries.
- Process credit card transactions and reconcile statements regularly
- Monitor and manage intercompany transactions and balances.
- Prepare weekly rent reconciliations and transfers for landlords under the group.
- Oversee the timely payment of utilities for rental void periods and new build properties before occupation.
- Ensure subcontractor insurance compliance and verify subcontractors for CIS.
- Support the financial controller in ad hoc tasks as necessary
- Requirements:_
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
