**About The Role**:
East Kent Colleges Group are seeking a Lecturer of English at Canterbury College.

As a Lecturer of English at East Kent Colleges group you will teach and assess students to maintain a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also include providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential.

**About You**:
You will be highly organised, creative and be able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan intervention will be a vital part of the role to ensure all students develop the skills they need to succeed. As part of duties, your will be responsible for teaching students from our Junior College, the AQA English Language GCSE course. Our Junior College is a full-time programme for students wishing to enter into fulltime education from the age of 14.

Ideally you will have experience of teaching English at GCSE level. You must have a positive outlook, be empathetic towards learners and have strong class management and administrative skills. You must be flexible and proactive as part of an enthusiastic and collaborative department who work effectively together to deliver high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
