As a Lecturer of **English** at Canterbury College you will teach, train and assess students in a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
**Your role will also include**:
- Prepare and deliver lessons to inspire and educate learners.
- Encourage and support learners to achieve their full potential.
- Provide guidance and feedback to support ongoing development.
- Train and assess students in both theory and practical work.
- Provide a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
**Key Information**:
**Hours per week: 7.5**
**Working pattern**:Wednesday - 11:20 - 15:50 and Friday - 10:10 - 13:30**
**Salary per year: £7,319 up to £8,018**

**About You**:
**What we are looking for?**
- Highly organised and efficient.
- The ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons
- Will provide a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Have up to date industry knowledge and experience.
- Will ensure all students develop the skills they need to succeed.
Ideally you will have experience of teaching or have delivered training in the workplace although this isn't essential as training will be offered to the successful applicant. You must have a positive outlook, be empathetic towards learners and have strong class management skills.
