We are currently looking for a Quotation Controller to join our team in our West Bromwich office.
**What we offer**:
The main purpose of the Quotation Controller role is to:
- To Control and manage all aspects of aftersales quotations.
- To present a professional company customer facing image and increase service revenues and margins through building effective customer and colleague relationships.
- To provide a single point of contact for internal and external customer quotation administration and communication
In this role you will be required:
- To maximise aftersales ad-hoc revenues and margin through the production of professionally presented and targeted quotations covering (but not limited to) ad-hoc repairs, wheel & tyre replacement, accident damage & misuse, PPM contracts, chargeable work arising (from service / from Thorough Examination), chargeable modifications, chargeable retrofits
- To liaise with service engineers, controllers, supervisors and Regional Service Managers to maximise the effectiveness of service quotations to ensure that revenue and margin opportunities are optimised
- To generate off hire damage rectification quotations in conjunction with rental control, contract administration, workshop and field service functions
- Continuously monitor outstanding quotations with customers and where necessary liaise with appropriate personnel to obtain a customer order number
- Negotiate a commercially viable price which is acceptable to customers and in line with margin guidelines for Linde MH UK
- To utilise effective negotiation closing strategies with each customer with a view obtaining customer order and maximising quotation conversion
- Develop on going customer relationships with a view to easing the negotiation of quotation closure
- Conduct each transaction with external and internal customers in a professional and competent manner consistent with maximising customer satisfaction, and encouraging repeat business, revenue and profit growth for the business.
- To undertake this role in compliance with Health and Safety requirements
- Whilst the above responsibilities outline the main functions of this position, management may from time to time, ask you to undertake other duties commensurate with the salary for this position.
