BGG garden and tree care is a family-run business established in 1999. With over 30 employees, BGG specialises in commercial and private ground maintenance, highway verge cutting, arboriculture, tree surgery and site clearance services. We run a large modern fleet of machinery and equipment to make jobs easier to complete throughout the counties of Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire.

We partner with County Councils, parishes, schools and a variety of other commercial and private businesses and residences and as we continue to grow, are looking for additional colleagues to join the team.

**Grounds Maintenance Operative**

You will be part of a team responsible for carrying out grounds maintenance activities and assisting operations on site, ensuring that all work is carried out to our high standards, ensuring a quality service is provided. You will also ensure that all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to, and equipment is maintained in a safe working condition. Tasks of a Grounds Maintenance Operative include: Grass cutting, Litter picking, Hedge cutting, Shrub maintenance, Leaf clearing, Pathway gritting, minor snow clearance, landscape work, tree planting, communicating with clients and customers

You will have:

- Experience in landscape work and use of mowers, strimmer’s, blowers, hedge cutters and chainsaws is essential.
- Industry Qualifications beneficial, but training can be provided.
- A full valid driving License preferred.
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Good time keeping and punctuality essential.

You will also:

- Enjoy working as part of team.
- Be familiar and comfortable working in a physically demanding role in sometimes severe weather conditions.

**Salary**: £16,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
