**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate manual forklifts safely and efficiently for loading and unloading goods.
- Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
- Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for shipping.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stocking shelves as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge will be beneficial for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of construction processes can be an asset in understanding material handling requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Ability to work on own initiative without supervision.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
