Securitas is recruiting for a Security Manager to work on-site and alongside the Contract Manager, for a nationally recognised client, that is home to branches of ITV, BBC and film sets of our favourite soaps and is HQ for multinational brands.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting the Contract Manager
- Resolve complex security issues on-site
- Recruit, develop and manage personnel
- Make sure that all staff have undertaken the appropriate vetting and training required
- Promote Health and Safety
- Actively encourage staff recognition
- Ensure Control Room Manager performs their duties in line with the correct standards and procedures
- Monitor faults with security-related equipment
- Manage a team of Duty Managers to ensure uniform standards, timeliness, and quality of work are maintained throughout the contract
- Deliver monthly KPI's to the customer

**Essential Skills** **What we expect, as a minimum, from our Security Managers**:
To be confident, articulate and communicate well both orally and in written language.
- SIA license
- Right to work in the UK with a 5 year checkable history
- Must have full UK driving license with access to a vehicle
- At least 3 years management experience in the Security Industry
- Must be fully flexible and manage own time
- Decision making skills
- Communication skills
- Business acumen and commercial awareness
- Passion for Operational excellence
- Strategic thinking (planning and forecasting)
- Customer focused
- Relationship building and networking

**Desirable Skills**:

- IOSH or equivalent H+S recognised qualification
- CCTV license
