**What a usual day will look like in this role...**
- Completing mechanical inspections, servicing, repairs, diagnostics of wood chipping machines and associated products inline with the company’s expectations and standards.
- Planning and prioritising your time each day to ensure you can fulfil the incoming jobs.
- Manitaining a cool and professional disposition and complete the tasks at hand regardless of the time restraints, client attitude or machine faults.
- Undertaking repairs in line with the warranty returns process.
- Communicating both with the Först Assist team and the customers at regular intervals during the day to provide detailed progress updates.
- Completing job records fully and in a timely manner within the company's database.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times for both yourself and your colleagues, adhering to health and safety standards, SOPs and relevant company policies.
- Working collaboratively and communicate clearly with other members of the production and the Stores team to ensure you have the tools, parts and equipment needed to complete your role in a timely manner

- You'll have extensive mechanical knowledge with relevant qualifications, preferably in a similar industry.
- You'll enjoy working with various production tools and equipment, troubleshooting minor issues or knowing when to escalate the issue.
- You'll be comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced production environment.
- You'll have a positive working attitude with a desire to get hands-on and stuck into production tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude.
