**Conference Producer - Global Media & Events Company**

**Brighton based Office, Hybrid Working + Travel**

**Salary up to £35K + Bonus**

This conference producer role is suited to an experienced conference producer or a graduate with transferable work experience gained in a similar role such as market research, journalism, or content marketing.

**What will you be doing?**

The Conference Producer will have responsibility for the production & delivery of large-scale B2B events and relevant content. The Conference Producer will have specific responsibility for:

- Desk and phone-based research to identify hot conference topics, industry trends and program format for the event
- Spot trends and new topics within the industry
- Develop your market knowledge & understanding and develop lasting relationships with key industry professionals
- Grow & develop the conferences through the creation of innovative formats, recruiting excellent speakers
- Project manage and create high quality, commercial, profitable and marketing leading events and content
- Write engaging copy for industry reports, webinars, speaker interviews, blog posts, etc.
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales & marketing on sponsorship and marketing deliverables
- Attend your events and relevant industry events
- Ensure your events are delivered within budget and on time
- Develop ideas for new events and content
- Post events analyse and report findings

**Who are you?**

A conference production career can be incredibly rewarding. The work is business focused, creative and varied but can be challenging at times as you are working to tight deadlines and targets. A great conference producer proactively goes above and beyondwhat is asked by evaluating and developing their own work to achieve excellence.
- 1-2-year experience in conference production or a similar role: market research/analyst, journalism, (content) marketing
- A 2:1 or a 1st degree in business, humanities, journalism, marketing or similar
- An analytical mindset. You excel at making sense of lots of different types of information. Drawing your own well-founded conclusions and presenting them concisely
- Passionate communicator, you enjoy writing and understand the importance of knowing your audience
- Target and results driven, resourceful, solutions orientated approach
- Adaptive and positive to change
- Efficient, meticulous, and detail-oriented work ethic
- You must be happy to work flexible hours and be able to travel
- Experience using data analytics tools such as Excel, Google Data Studio is advantageous

You will be joining the Brighton office of a vibrant, dynamic B2B exhibition and conference company. The team currently produces and runs large-scale conferences and exhibitions in USA and Europe with plans for expansion underway.
