**About The Role**:
You will become the expert within your team for the convenience store environment, understanding key communications challenges and customer requirements in order to deliver effective marketing support to solve business problems and drive sales.

You will also need the ability to react to the market quickly, ensuring we always put our best foot forward.

This is a full time, permanent position which follows a hybrid model with a 4.5 day working week.

Our teams work from our vibrant head office in Bradford for three days and remotely for a day and a half, Monday to Friday.

Hilmore House, our head office, offers convenient amenities, including a subsidised on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, a prayer room, free parking, and frequent company wide events and promotions.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring that campaign communications across multiple marketing channels are executed on time and in full, delivering compelling messaging to customers. Inclusive of writing briefs, developing content and seeking internal stakeholder sign off.
- Working with your marketing colleagues, retail operations, trading planning and Media Centre team plus other key stakeholders to ensure that the retail marketing plan is fully supported and activated in store, whilst balancing the need to safeguard the customer shopping experience.
- Management of costs associated with all marketing channel activity.
- Continually reviewing processes to ensure we drive down cost and operational waste to maximise return on investment.
- Seeking insight into how customers have experienced the campaign in store and build into learnings for future events
- Being an active participant of a high performing, engaged and diverse teams,focused on compelling communication, service, sales and profitability
- Driving down cost and operational waste to ensure that ROI is maximised and savings found where possible -sending to print on time and without errors - challenging costs.

- Experience of managing marketing or communications in a commercially driven environment, preferably retail is essential.
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to negotiate with and influence others to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to coach and lead others to deliver a common goal as well as be a team player.
- Numerical, presentation and verbal skills; a clear communicator.
- Must be highly organised and able to prioritise workload
- Passionate and committed to delivering great quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
- Customer focussed with a positive attitude
- Experience of working in fast paced environment with lots of change
- Proven track record of delivering in a large organisation
- Commercial and financial understanding
- Analytical and creative thinker with the ability to look for ways to improve customer satisfaction, profitability and productivity
- The ability to work cross-functionally and in a team to land projects
