**Global Head of Facilities Management & Environment, Health and Safety**
**Role Purpose**
As Global Head of Facilities Management, Environment, Health & Safety, you will ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant regulatory and non-financial reporting requirements and follows best practice in all of its activities.
You will manage a multi-tenanted 11-year-old landmark headquarters building (314k sqft) on the River Thames. You will be responsible for the Service Charge budget, and all hard and soft Facilities Services.
You will also manage all building/facilities management matters Globally including Landlord and Tenant, oversight of effective maintenance and review of all service charge costs.
As an instrumental member of the Corporate Sustainability team you will help us reach our commitment to achieve net zero carbon emissions across our operations by 2030. You will ensure good environmental practices are followed at all times, seek out opportunitiesto reduce our corporate carbon emissions whenever possible, oversee the collection and analysis of our corporate carbon emissions data and prepare internal and external reporting as necessary.

Direct line management responsibility for the Senior Facilities Services Manager
**Core Competencies**
- As Global Head of Facilities Management & Sustainability, you will be expected to take a lead in ensuring best practice is followed in all offices globally
- You will need to be familiar with running a service charge budget and managing landlord and tenant relations including quarterly meetings
- Lead the teams in the London office and elsewhere to provide excellent service
- Preferably educated to degree level with a Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent) and an Environmental qualification (e.g. ISO14001, IEMA certified or equivalent)
- A proven background working at a senior level as a Facilities Manager or similar
- Be a cool head in a pressurised environment
- Understand the importance of budgetary control
- Understand the complexities of running contracts and supplier management
- Have a detailed and rigorous approach to all Health & Safety matters, ensuring best practice is followed in all offices globally
- Be willing to respond to events at any time and to do whatever is required
- Ensuring that the infrastructure and working environment are performing at their optimal level will be your priority
- Ability to manage and maintain effective professional relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation as well as our tenants, contractors and suppliers
- Professional membership of IWFM, CIBSE, IEMA etc.
