We are currently working with a leading UK Facilities Service provider to recruit a Head of Technical Services, to cover an Education portfolio in the East and South East London areasLike the look of this opportunity Make sure to apply fast, as a high volume of applications is expected Scroll down to read the complete job description.The role will be split between site, office in East London, and home workingThe Role :As part of the senior management team with technical services P&L budgetary responsibility. To develop, lead and provide legislative and mandatory compliance strategy, structure (including process), guidance and support to the operational engineering management in a standardised, efficient and safe manner.Ensuring source specialist services where applicable to ensure that the business are able to deliver consistent safe services within contractual and financial parameters. The main services to be covered are FM building and fabric engineering services with direct interface supporting other related areas of the FM business such as Lifecycle and Variation works.Responsibility for statutory compliance, supplier management, Defect management, compliance to contractual asset(s) hand back criteria and compliance to CDM. SFG20, HTMs, British StandardsCandidate requirements :Demonstrable evidence of working in a similar environment and level with resultsHard FM management experience xpwpeyx Up to date knowledge on regulatory and legal compliance requirements including CDM. SFG20, HTMs, British StandardsRecognised Health & Safety Qualification (IOSH) & CIWFMStrong knowledge of managing lifecycle, PMO, building defectsExperience of audit and compliance work within the relevant building servicesIdeally experience on PFI or public sector contracts#J-18808-Ljbffr
