As the Site manager, you will provide high level guidance and support to the senior
leadership team and ensure that the estates are compliant, maintained and presented to meet
the needs of staff, and visitors, achieving efficiency's and economies across the estates where possible.

**Client Details**

A public sector organisation is looking for a site manager to join their maintenance team, to work within their portfolio of properties in Somerset.

**Description**
- Prepare and monitor planned and preventative maintenance schedules for each
school in the hub, liaising with both the school and the Head of Estates regarding
budgets.
- Provide guidance to the site teams to meet the needs of the health and safety
and statutory compliance requirements.
- Provide support and advice for any emergencies at the estates.
- Review activities/contractors, negotiating with suppliers, to identify possible cost
saving opportunities and economics of scale across the sites.
- Ensure that systems are in place to have contractors inducted and appropriately
supervised, and oversee their performance and quality of work.
- Ensure all COSHH and Health and Safety regulations are observed.

**Profile**

To have supervisory experience of a small team.

To have a good working knowledge of facilities management, within the public sector would be ideal.

To be contactable out of hours for emergency situations

Possess and maintain a valid driving licence, there will be use of a company vehicle but occasional use of own vehicle may be required

**Job Offer**

A competitive salary of circa £34,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) is on offer and in addition to this you will also be enrolled on to a very lucrative pension scheme of an 18.3% employer contribution on top of your own employee contribution. Plus33 Days Holidays.
