Marketing Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a talented Marketing Assistant to join our team in supporting various marketing activities. As a Marketing Assistant, your role is to assist all marketing areas on our wholesale B2B side and also B2C customer relations.

This role is for someone passionate about the beauty and hair industry, with finger on the trends and enthusiastic about marketing hair products

**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage and produce content for the company social media channels such as Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms

2. Monitors social media engagement, mainly on TikTok via:

- Posting frequent updates when relevant
- Responding to comments and messages appropriate to drive positive engagement

3. Uses and creates timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits

4. Update Sleek websites to have the most relevant information relating to marketing activities

5. Use website analytics and social media tools to report to Management Team how effective the engagement is and opportunities to drive more sales

6. Set up, monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely and professional manner while fostering positive relationships with followers and influencers.

7. Record and review historical trends to be judged against current trends and suggest new marketing paths for the company.

8. Analyses and reports audience information, demographics and successes of existing social media projects to the Management Team to improve social media knowledge.

9. Produce relevant content for Sleek UK online stores to promote engagement and participation

10. Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content and online stores while staying up to date with the latest in social media trends, tools and best practices.

11. Produce promotional materials in all types of print and digital format such as: graphics, flyer, new product information, brochures, pricelists, posters.

12. Organise relevant mail-outs relating to the marketing effort of the marketing team in relation to social media

13. Work with Marketing Team to check Warehouse stock, for those that is not selling well and research solutions on best way to promote or sell the product

15. Assist the Team in training staff in a creative way about product launches and timelines.

16. Conducting competitor product and packaging analysis to improve market knowledge to the company

17. Researching into promotion, advertising ideas and solutions to increase further sales.
- Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

18. Proactively communicate with departments internally to support the Marketing department to align with the company goals.

Skills + Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing or a related role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Pay: £22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
