**What's the role?**:
Reporting to the Region Head of HR for Northern Europe, we are looking for an experienced Head of Reward seeking a global career, to join us at our Northern Europe headquarters in Manchester. Along with your team, you'll be responsible for implementing the compensation and benefits process for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, as well as representing the Region on Global reward topics.

**What does the role involve?**:
In addition, the role holder will:

- Own and drive the Reward Strategy for the Northern Europe Region
- Maintain global grading structure through evaluation of positions against Hilti global grading standards and support organisation design and evaluation of jobs
- Enforce salary policy and guidelines, in order to maintain consistent compensation banding for each grade level
- Advise on compensation packages for new hires and promotions across the Northern Europe region, making recommendations for competitive offers within salary policy, whilst considering internal equity
- Manage all General Manager and Leadership Team employment offers and contracts, bonus and merit reviews
- Manage the international assignee process for the region in conjunction with the International Assignments team at global HQ in Schaan, maintaining an accurate database of information and reporting where required
- Conduct annual compensation benchmarking review & analysis in order to provide recommendations on annual salary policy for all GB employees and General Managers and Directors
- Prepare and lead the Region Compensation Board
- Manage and review external vendor relationships where appropriate.
- Ensure consistent provision of competitive and attractive company benefits for all employees in GB
- Communicate, train and support HR team and the Business to ensure a high level of understanding on our compensation philosophy and methodology

Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop. - Extensive experience in compensation and benefits in commercially driven organisation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading people & projects
- Ability to influence internal and external business partners and establish a mutual sense of trust and cooperation to build and nurture relationships
- Highly numerate and confident working with data and systems
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to analyse complex data and present in a clear and concise manner
- Results-driven and able to work effectively to deadlines and under pressure in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
- Proactive and self-motivated with ability to prioritise tasks; can easily differentiate critical issues from the non-urgent
- Desire to have a global career with a willingness to relocate internationally should development opportunities require
