Search Consultancy has an excellent opportunity to work with one of our Education clients in a Fundraising Administration role.

The purpose of this role is to support the University's search for philanthropic support by providing administrative, events, and communications support. Assist in the delivery of legacy, international and major gifts fundraising including the managementof legacy gifts and the management of relationships with prospects and donors.

This is a temporary position for 3 months starting in May. The pay rate is £11 per hour and the contract is 35 hours per week with a hybrid working model.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Schedule trips and appointments for the team, booking appropriate travel and accommodation
- Maintain accurate records on the database relating to pledgers, donor prospects and their gifts
- Provide administrative support for small cultivation events (up to 25 guests) including drafting invitations, liaising with guests and venues, compiling materials such as information packs, presentations, signage and badges
- Work with gift management staff to ensure legacy gifts are correctly allocated to the appropriate fund
- Prepare letters of thanks for legacy and international gift donors timeously and accurately, ensuring they are thanked for the correct level and purpose of gift and that necessary documentation (e.g., Canadian and US tax receipts) is correctly executed,following service standards to ensure compliance and an excellent support experience
- Act as a purchasing officer as required, sourcing suppliers and administering expenditure on travel and events
- With guidance, draft, upload and ensure the maintenance of content for the University's web pages on fundraising activity in liaison with fundraising and marketing colleagues

Skills and experience required:

- Previously worked in PA or administrative role in a customer-facing environment
- Experience of interrogating a complex relationship management database such as Raisers Edge to deliver events and communications and manage supporter/customer relationships
- Experience of event management and administration
- Experience of working in an office team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
