**Summary**
The Training and Events Trainee/Apprentice will support the implementation of the training strategy, including but not limited to classroom training, virtual classrooms, e-learning and customised in-house workshops. This role will also provide support to the knowledge transfer and scientific dissemination activities on government-funded projects.
This role will work closely with the technical, marketing and sales teams to coordinate the delivery of training and scientific dissemination activities. In addition, regular communication with clients and project stakeholders will be required (full training will be given).
**Role and Responsibilities**
The roles and responsibilities of the Training and Events Trainee/Apprentice include, but are not limited to:
1. Support the implementation of the global training strategy
- Assist the team in the execution of global training strategy, with a focus on classroom workshops and e-learning
- Work with the Yordas technical and marketing teams to prepare training materials, including course manuals, handouts, quizzes, activities and presentations
- Liaise with marketing and sales team for implementing the promotion strategies for each training course offered
- Update and manage the training page of the website, as needed
- In collaboration with the Marketing team, coordinate the preparation of templates for course manuals, fact sheets, handouts, activities and presentations, to align the quality of materials and handouts provided during the training courses
2. Client Engagement and Follow-up
- Coordinate custom client requests with Yordas technical teams to ensure the best options are provided to potential clients in a timely manner
- Document client engagement related to training in ERP system
- Monitor quality of training delivery by liaising with clients and trainers to compile feedback on training
3. Event Management
- Organise the logistics of training and marketing events globally, including venue booking, event set up, greeting of participants and troubleshooting as required
- Attend training events, where possible, or arrange for local staff to coordinate training events on location
- Research and booking of venues
- Liaising with clients
- Setting up of venues
- Preparing and printing material for training
- Booking refreshments for training
- IT requirements and equipment for training
4. Monitoring and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training data in ERP system
- Support monitoring of training activities, including performance, costs and revenues on a regular basis
5. Manage marketing and information dissemination requirements on ongoing and future government-funded projects
- Assist in supporting the development of marketing plans and strategies for the projects
- Manage project websites
- Liaise with designers and illustrators, as required
- Manage social media campaigns
- Coordinate with Marketing Team for the design marketing materials and artwork for social media, events and presentations
- Coordinate production of marketing materials, including leaflets, banners, newsletters, as required
- Represent Yordas at project-related events, as required
6. Any additional work as required by the business from time to time
