**The Role**

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to take ownership of all back-of-house operations within our London flagship store.

This is a key role supporting both retail and ecommerce channels — ensuring stock flows seamlessly, operations run efficiently, and the stockroom reflects the same excellence as our customer-facing spaces.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain a well-organised, clean, and safe stockroom environment at all times.
- Reorganise and optimise the stockroom layout for efficient space utilisation, including regular condensing, clear labelling, and upkeep of an accurate in-store stock map.
- Process all incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate checking, tagging, and placement of stock in the appropriate locations.
- Handle stock recalls — both inbound and outbound — ensuring all items are processed efficiently, logged accurately, and despatched or returned on time.
- Support retail operations by managing replenishment, stock picking, and returns, enabling the sales team to focus on customers and sales performance.
- Oversee Ecommerce fulfilment, including timely picking, packing, and dispatching of website orders to uphold service level expectations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and full stock takes, investigating discrepancies using in-store RFID systems and liaising with management on findings.
- Proactively prepare for new deliveries by creating space, reorganising stock, and maximising storage capacity.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all stock movements, ensuring full traceability and accountability.
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations and store management to improve stockroom processes and propose operational efficiencies.
- Support compliance with Health & Safety and company policies in all stockroom practices.

**Skills & Experience**

Essential:

- Proven experience as a Stockroom Assistant / Controller / Operative within a retail fashion environment.
- Strong understanding of apparel stock management and retail operational processes.
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and stock control systems.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Logical, proactive thinker who can identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail setting.

Desirable:

- Experience supporting ecommerce fulfilment and store operations.
- Familiarity with RFID systems.
- Previous experience within a premium or luxury retail environment.
