**JOB OFFER**:

- 1- 2- Location- Great Yarmouth, Norfolk- 3- 4- Remuneration- Competitive**The key aims of the role are**:

- To provide general administrative support
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Raising of requisitions and purchase orders
- Expediting orders to meet deadlines

**Qualifications**:

- 5 x GCSE’s at grade 5 or above, further education preferable, however work place experience is important.
- Driving licence would be beneficial.

**Scope of Responsibilities**:

- Willingness to assist all department personnel
- Take on responsibility for the control and timely processing and approval of supplier invoices, creating a close working relationship with the Accounts Department
- Raise requisitions, ensuring correct financial, technical, quality and budget approval
- Raise purchase orders, obtaining necessary approvals
- Take on responsibility for the procurement within certain projects
- Maintain equipment rental and procurement registers
- Become familiar with all departmental procedures
- Maintenance of KA database, including approved supplier list
- Expediting orders, advising management of problems and mitigation options
- Coordinate department meeting programme

**Competencies & Soft Skills**:

- Basic understanding of business finance or procurement functions
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
- Good written and confident verbal communication skills
- Able to take ownership for discrete work packages and operate with mínimal supervision
- Competent user of the full Microsoft Office suite, ability to use databases
- Willing to learn and develop with progress in the Supply Chain Team a desired outcome
