Job purpose:
Working under the direction of the Business Systems Manager is the main focal point for the procurement of goods and services from the Great Yarmouth depot. Manages the requisition and purchase of supplies, materials, equipment and other purchased items maintaining strict operational control.

Principal Accountabilities:
To create purchase orders all from requisitions for all purchase orders from the Great Yarmouth depot and ensure costs are allocated correctly to correct department.
Seek approval of purchase orders from the respective line managers and issue purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery date, quantity ordered and price are correct.
In addition:

- Mark goods as received once delivered
- Manage company staff house
- Data inputting and data cleansing
- Answer telephones and maintain a friendly and professional presence
- Uploading of delivery/collection notes and other logistics related paperwork
- Provide general administration relief to other departments as and when required.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Manager within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are deemed competent to fulfil these
- Assists all departments taking minutes of meetings.

Knowledge Skills & Experience:

- Experience using Microsoft packages (word, excel etc.)
- An administrative is advantageous but not essential
