**Job Overview**

Experience in a similar role or complaints background is required.

**What is required of you?**
- To maintain a working knowledge of FCA rules and regulatory requirements.
- To action, log and respond to customer complaints received in line with company procedures.
- To assess and resolve complaints in an efficient and compliant manner, negotiating with the lender, motor dealer and customer as appropriate, escalating to management where required in line with internal guidelines.
- Work within company guidelines and thresholds where there is a likelihood of financial loss and appropriately escalate complaints when these thresholds are exceeded.
- Adopt efficient processes e.g. using outlook calendar, tasks, notebooks in order to provide effective service to the company.
- To work within the regulatory rules and timelines on complaint handling.
- To assist the Complaints Manager to complete and further develop the dealer set up process.
- Work to the guidelines and principles of the Consumer Duty and Consumer Support Outcome ensuring that all parties (lenders, dealers, customers) are communicated with and understand the process and current situation.
- To deliver and maintain excellent customer service always.
- Support the Complaints Manager to undertake external compliance audits.
- Check customer ID documents to assess validity in order to identify risk and raising any concerns to Complaints Manager or other management staff if potential fraud is highlighted.
- To maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive data and conversations in line with GDPR.
- Implement and monitor NTU audits providing feedback to the Complaints Manager of any issues.
- Complete appropriate documentation and liaise with Accounts Department regarding unwinds.
- To be responsible for the administration of the unwind process, ensuring that funds are returned to Motion Finance promptly avoiding any financial loss to the Company.
- Involvement in Internal compliance monitoring.
