Role Description: The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the payroll function and ensures the integrity, accuracy of data collation and maintenance in addition to provision to the outsourced payroll provider. The incumbent coordinates the data and liaises with both the payroll outsourcer and the in-country partner to ensure data is processes in full. for all directly employed staff in the UK. as well as coordinating administrative matters of agency workers. Key Responsibilities: Payroll System Responsible for the maintenance of the configuration of the payroll outsource providers system to ensure compliance with payroll policies, practices and collective agreements. In addition to maintenance of in-house time and attendance system. Payroll Processing Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of monthly payroll using the payroll system. More specifically: - Inputting data in the Outsource payroll providers system and liaising with them and the in-country partner. - Analysis and verify all documentation received to process employee payroll; - Ensures data integrity through cross-checking and auditing others work that affects employees pays such as verification of forms and documents initiated by non-payroll employees; - Validates that timesheet information entered by agency workers and zero hours employees has been approved by their Manager; - Calculates and processes all payroll relevant information - Coordinates direct withdrawals, remittances and deductions ensuring the transfer of funds to external agencies, governmental departments and insurance companies; - Ensures accuracy of final payroll calculation; - Assists staff and managers with reconciliation of actual costs versus budget by providing detailed breakdown and analysis of payroll-related charges (salary, allowances and benefits); - Reconcile pension remittances; - At fiscal year-end, calculates pay increases, variables pays, lump sum payments, pension contributions and salary and severance accruals; - Prepares leave without pay estimates and reconciliations every quarter. Accounting and Payroll Reporting - Provide accurate reconciliation of all payroll entries - Prepare payroll remittances and perform reports for the general ledger on a monthly basis; - Support monthly General Ledger reporting (GL) s using the payroll reports, adjustments and corrections, verifying financial coding, ensuring data integrity and following internal accounting rules and policies; - Reconcile social charges, benefits and insurances reports - P11D’s processing Payroll Specialised Advice - Advises colleagues, employees and management on payroll matters to ensure integrity and compliance with regulatory agencies. - Uses expertise in payroll and knowledge on regulations to support HR - Monitors adherence to legislation regarding income tax, pension and benefits; researches and remains current with applicable legislations to recommend to management the necessary actions to remain compliant; Desirable knowledge / skills - Pension Auto enrolment - Gender pay gap reporting - P11D Processing - Benefits Management - Private healthcare management - Car /allowance management - SAP - Success Factors - Outsourced payroll management - Payroll compliance controls Supervision Indirect Supervision: Colleagues and employees with regards to system utilisation Education & Training: Excellent IT skills - Word, Excel (pivot tables & V-lookup) **Experience**: Payroll Experience BRINGING YOUR TRUE SELF TO WORK To reach our goals, we know we need colleagues at all levels who are truly div
