**Senior Catastrophe Modeller**:

- **Salary - £60,000**_
- **Hybrid/Flexible**_
You will be working in the Exposure Management team with the US retail and London wholesale broking units to assist clients in managing their exposure data. You will be using RMS and AIR catastrophe models to ensure clients have the correct cover in the correctlocations, this also involves the visualisation of data, and presenting it directly to clients.
You will also be working closely with Lloyds and London Market Insurers to provide exposure data and modelled losses on singular and at a portfolio level, which includes binders.
The Exposure Management team currently looks after 9 different business units, which includes but is not limited to, US Property D&F, Natural Resources, Livestock and International Property.
- Knowledge of LMP slips & the Lloyds and London Insurance Market
- Minimum of 2 years' experience using Catastrophe Models, in particular **RMS Risklink / Risk Modeller**:

- Technical understanding of data enrichment, manipulation and data cleansing best practices
- Ability to work quickly and precisely with large data sets
- A keen interest in data and Natural Catastrophes
- Proactive in finding solutions to problems without waiting to be prompted by others
- Good MS office skills particularly Microsoft Excel and ideally Power BI
- Knowledge of GIS software
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Python or R programming knowledge is desirable but not essential
The client is seeking someone with ambition, drive and a free thinker who is able to challenge the status - quo to power the team forward. Also there are some junior CAT modellers on the team that need guidance and mentorship so this will be a great opportunityto start the transition into people management.
